Quality Engineer

We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our team!

This is what we do:

Design and implement comprehensive test strategies, ensure software quality through automated testing, perform regression testing, create a test approach, and collaborate with development teams to deliver high-quality products to our users.

About you:

• You have 7+ years of experience in leading positions as a Quality Engineer or in similar testing roles
• You have strong knowledge of software QA methodologies (like ISTQB), tools, and processes
• You have experience with test automation frameworks and tools (like JUnit, NUnit, Cucumber, Rest Assured, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, K6, or similar)
• You have worked with test management tools and defect tracking systems (JIRA, Linear, or similar)
• You are proficient in writing clear, comprehensive test cases and can create detailed bug reports
• You have experience in API testing and understand RESTful services
• You have programming skills in at least one language (Java, Python, JavaScript, …)
• You have experience with performance, security, and load-testing techniques
• You worked closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle
• You have a strong analytical mindset and the ability to anticipate potential quality issues
• You are detail-oriented with exceptional problem-solving skills and a passion for product quality
• You worked on a project with the Scrum organization, so you know how to prepare for daily demos, retrospectives, and refinements, and you know how to manage your work transparently
• You like learning new things and are open to exploring different approaches to solutions
• You like a healthy, balanced relationship between work and free time - we don't like overtime
